The Ask
Corona Extra helped make Cinco de Mayo an occasion to celebrate, but it was getting drowned out by competitors.
The Campaign
We created a new tradition - New Year’s Eve has the ball drop, and Cinco de Mayo now has The Limedrop. Working with Constellation Brands and Ketchum, we created a campaign that saw limes drop all over at 5:55pm on 5/5 - starting with the lime drop instead of a ball in Times Square and continuing the party all over social.

The Results
Corona trended on social during Cinco, earning 60mm impressions. Not to mention owning Cinco de Mayo with every picture of people enjoying their Corona and lime.
